A downloadable game for Windows

A short visual novel about taking a shortcut home and nothing bad happening. On an unrelated note, this game includes some horror of the body- and 4th wall-questioning -variety with a hint of gore.

This game was made in about a month for a school assignment by a pretty caveman-esque procrastinator. (trust me, this is very impressive)

May or may not get developed further (add more effects, endings and whatnot. Who knows?)

Liked it alot! I've never heard of a similar myth before, well, aside from the myth of orpheus and eurydice but that's more of a tragedy than a horror body snatcher ahaha. It's really spooky, the art is well-drawn(especially the body horror, omg. so detailed). Also really liked the fourth wall break towards the end-spooky!! That and the circular narrative implying this continues onward; always a good way to bring about dread in this myth-like stories I think. Also Also found the protagonist written really relatably and realistically, so that makes the game more immersive and therefore more scary!

Eeee very happy to hear you liked it! ^,^ (and even happier to have checked pretty much all the boxes i aimed for! >;D (with the vibes, circularity and such))

Hey there! Absolutely loved the game. I think it's pretty cool conceptually, and the monster design was just spot on. I was wondering if it'd be alright for me to put up the video about the game, I wouldn't want to tread any boundaries considering it's a school assignment.
